Ordered a New Q5 (S-Line?)
I just put my order in for a White 2011 Q5, but not the S-Line. I have 2 days to change my mind. With the S-Line other than the cosmetic changes there is the 3 spoke steering wheel and the 20" performance tires and nicer rims. I'm in a quandry should I order the S-Line or not. Your thoughts. Is it worth the extra 2K. Thanks
It may be largely cosmetic differences, but they are ones that make an enormous difference, I think, especially after seeing them both in the flesh. Go look side by side if you are in doubt. The extra cost—in the context of the total cost of this vehicle—was worth it for me.
Also can you order the Audi Drive Select with the S-Line as my wife like the fact that she could select the comfortable drive option vs. the sport option
MB_Audi, the headliner is the fabric on the inside roof, and all pillars (ie. windshield, and between doors... A/B etc.)
And yes, you can order drive select with s-line. I did with mine.
quite the difference between comfort and dynamic. surprised me first time in dynamic, almost hurt my neck hittin the gas! heheh
Love the Q5!

My last question is that the 20" tires are termed "High Performance, not suitable for winter". I don't know if I want the expense of having to purchase or re-tire them every winter with All Seasons.
All-seasons only work effectively down to about 7°C. You should have winter tires anyway, especially if you go anywhere outside of Vancouver (ie. Whistler).
That said, you are trying hard to find a reason to not get S-line. Don't get it.

No, finding the reasons to justify its extra cost which my wife doesn't think I need to spend. With the S-Line and ADS, the 20" tires I will be good. Will call Audi Monday and change to S-Line. I also purchased the 1000 Watt Stereo so the music should sound good on those drives to Whistler.
