My 2010 Q5 S-line pictures as promissed

Here are a few pics of my Q5...sorry they are not artsy at all
The 17" winter package is what I bought through the dealership. I also took a pic of 20" summers - can't wait to put them on...
... and before someone asks: the S badge at the back did not come with the car; I put it on.

Thanks for the pictures. You seem to be very happy with the vehicle. I am considering the same for my wife next year.

NICE ride man. Like your choice of RIM for your winters. It's interesting how the leather shift knob (the leather material) is slightly different in S-line than non-S-line.

Enjoy.

Congrats on a great looking Q5. Lose the S badge though. (In fact, I'd lose all the badges! ;))

Hi UBERTOLL,

Thanks for the photo and your Q5 is looking good. I am just wondering what is this 17" winter package? and how much you got it from the dealer?

Thanks
J

I'd be curious to know what S Badge you added, may consider doing that myself. What part is it called at the Parts Dept? Can you show any closer head on pics of the S badge on the back?

The Audi looks great!

Yes, I bought it off eBay - and it is the one from the first link supplied...

Wow that's one expensive winter package. I got my 18" Audi rims including sensors and 4 sets of winter tires good brand all new installed for $1700.00. I guess as long as it does what it should.

Congrats on the car.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that we got a big overall discount on the vehicle so we did not pay this much for the winters when you work in the discount, etc.
That is the amount that was on their line-by-line invoice...

That makes, as long as you got a good deal.

Uber, I've been looking at the pics of your Q and the dimensions of the driveway where the garages are (they appear to be on both sides). It looks deceivingly tight. Is it difficult to pull in and out of the garage? This has nothing to do with the Q5, but it peaked my curiosity.

It is rows of townhouses - it isn't bad at all, we usually back up into our garage so it's easier to get out... Camera at the back really helps!

As your Q5 is one of the newer ones on the post did you have the hard metal valve stems for the TPM sensors or the rubber ones?

I'm not sure if the S Line comes with a different setup than a premium, but I am due for delivery in a few weeks and have sourced out new wheels and wanted to know if you needed to add the monitors to your winter set or not?

Thanks.

2010 models use passive TPMS. It's set up with the ABS sensors. You do not need any additional wheels sensors for the TPMS system for your upcoming Q5.

I second Tony's statement. I of course didn't know this when I bought my winter tires and wasted 180 dollars on sensors which I have in there now but they're useless.

Thanks guys. Wish the parts counters had that knowledge as quick as you all do.
