Just Ordered New Q5 S-Line
Hey All,
Finally took the plunge and ordered a new Q5 2.0T S-line, with Nav, B & O and Sunroof in Lava Gray.
I went in meaning to buy the 3.2, but a final back to back test drive of the 2.0T and 3.2 sealed the deal in favour of the 2.0T. The responsiveness of the car all the way up to 140K was amazing.
The new 8s peed tranny is as advertised. I had to hammer the throttle on the 3.2 to get the same results on the same route, and with the fact that its going be a bit of a commuter vehicle, the fuel economy was a big concern.
Most likely someone will make a chip that closes the HP gap with the 3.2 and gives a bit of extra torque...
Hopefully Mid October she will arrive. I can hardly wait!!
Now time to start sourcing winter wheels and planning a few vag-com mods...

Re: Just Ordered New Q5 S-Line
We actually bought it from your dealership. I'd been working with Joe before i found out about this forum.
We had decided on that colour on a previous trip in, and were surprised to see it sitting in the showroom yesterday. looks awesome sitting there.
Can't wait to get ours!

It would be nice to know how much people are paying for the car and also, is it lease or buy?
Is it possible to bargain the (very high 2000$) destination charge?
