Which grade of gasoline using for the Q5?

Silver 89 Octane or Gold 91 Octane?

91. Don't fool around with Octane with the FSI system.

I only fill up with Shell.

Shell vpower gold and for the last few tankfuls petro can 94 super premium. I also think you should only do premium unless there are no other options - as the owners manual recommends. I don't put much credibility in that marketplace piece - if those folks had their way we'd all be driving Prius's and Volts.

I also use Premium 91 Octane. The mileage really suffers if you use something lower than 91.
