Default Engine Coolant

Good afternoon. Please be gentle with me as this is my first post !!!!
I have a Q5 2010 2L, automatic. Today the check engine coolant light came on asking me to switch off the engine and check the coolant level. I did this and it was completely empty. I got home and let the engine cool before filling it up. I drove 5km, parked up and on returning to the car all the coolant fluid was on the floor under the car. I switched the engine on and the warning light was back on, I checked the fluid level and again the tank was empty. I got home very slowly.
I have tried to find why the car is dumping all the coolant fluid and the common problem seems to be a faulty water pump ( may not be ) . Looking up details of Audi water pump, there seems to be some people saying the 2010 models had a plastic water pump that had an Audi recall. Not sure if this is true.
My car is booked in for a full service on Wednesday, am I ok to drive there or should I get them to pick the car up, and also is my car still under warranty for the fuel pump, 68,000 km on the clock.
Would really love anyone's help or advise.
Thank you so much
Richard

Water pump was a known issue. mine went on a 3.2L. The impellers were plastic. I would not drive the car to the shop if there is no coolant.
