Hello,

I'm looking at the Q7 manual and it shows the different settings the Driver information Display can display, one of the settings is the digital speedometer.
except the manual doesn't show you how to toggle between the different settings and I went through all little button and combination and for the life of me I can't find it.
I read somewhere that the toggle button is the "Reset" button on the windshield wiper stick, I don't have any buttons on the windshield wiper stick.

Any ideas?

Look at your windshield wiper stick. It's a button at the bottom of the stick (underside). YOu can use that to toggle the display.

would the up and down button at the end of the stick do anything? I'm just trying to recall where this is, since the Q7 belongs to the wife.

up and down just enable the wipers to move.
I called the dealer and he said that this is an option of some package where a reset button would be on the wiper stick and can toggle between settings.
But I'm sure there is a way to enable it through different buttons or menus, or maybe through the VAG-COM.

Nono, not moving the wiper stick up and down. At the end of the stick (at the tip) there's also a toggle up and down (little buttons). Do you have those?

oh, that's different then ours. We have a button right below the wiper setting, then we have a up and down trigger at the end of the stick.

I don't know what to tell you, sorry as I can't help.

Here's a picture. Wife just took it for me, there's a reset button at the bottom and the up and down switch at the end. There's got to be a way to do the change on the fly without having to access the VAGCOM.
