anyone with trade-in experience?
Hi all,
So wife and I are deciding to trade-in our 2011 Q5 3.2 Prem. Sline for the 2013 Q7 for larger space for the family.
The Q5 still under Audi Care, plus the Sline Wheel protection package etc etc.
What is your experience with trade-in and what seems to be the better way of getting most value out of the well maintained Q5?
Frankly, I'd prefer to keep the Q5 for myself's casual driving but our budget won't allow.
Cheers & Thanks for any of your input.

Thanks again warcity for the tips. Since this is my first time, where would you recommend I go list the vehicle? Any popular web sites, blogs or simply bargain finders?
trade in's aren't what you think, you'll always loose against them so i dont know try selling to a friend a neighbour or someone like an outsider then go purchase your new car
Kijiji? Really? Did you ask for a bank draft or money order, or cash? I never done transaction like this before, what did you and the buyer do to find a payment/delivery solution comfortable to both? I'd be greatly appreciated if you can PM me any details as I am considering posting on kijiji or auto-trade, and even here.
Cheers
You can get a rough idea of how much your car worth on canadianblackbook.com
Also, don't forget that when that when you trade in your car, you can save a lot of money in taxes.
