Is there a DIY or instructions or a local company that can add a tow hitch to my 07 Q7?

Based on my needs for our Q5 (towing a boat in and out of the water but not leaving the property), I went with a non OEM class III hitch for $325. This did not include a wiring harness (add'l cost of $150.).

If I went with that hitch does it affect my warrenty because a guy in service at barrie auto house said it would affect my transmission warrenty ..

You realize the Q5 is rated to tow 4400 lbs ?? You're not asking if your warranty is affected by using an aftermarket hitch . .. are you ??

Steve the guy from barrie Audi said it will affect my warranty and I thought that was really strange that he said that too me ?

I'd speak with the service manager to confirm that the guy you spoke with is wrong. Perhaps call another dealer ...

I spoke to the service manager and your never going to believe this but she said hitch city has the best price so I went there and got it done today and it was 595 total taxes in and trailer harness in that price also also in that price was installation.
