2017 SQ5 TPMS in Canada

Well got my first flat on my SQ5 with the Pirelli P-Zero tires on, these are run flat tires. I believe that the tire was flat for a couple of days and when I checked it the pressure was at 10 PSI, I felt some weird feedback a few times when driving. Now I say to myself why didn't the car notify me of this, so I went into manual and read up on the system and went to do reset procedure as per manual, I cannot find the menu for this in the MMI as per the manual, so I searched and tried other methods, still couldn't find the menu. So I call the dealer, give VIN number they call me back and say there is no TPMS on a 2017 Audi SQ5, like really on a 2017 $65,000 fully loaded vehicle. I know in the States they have it as it is law down there but why did they not program it in here. It has nothing to do with equipment like sensors installed in the wheels it is run off the ABS systems encoders on the wheels it looks for wheel diameter changes so the equipment is there. I am finding after 5-6 months this car is an awesome drive but seriously behind in technology, really!

Re: 2017 SQ5 TPMS in Canada

Interesting I have a 2018 SQ5 with Pirelli P-Zero tires. In the Menu I found the area to "Store Tire Pressure" so I assume it has the warning system. There is nothing I can see that says these tires are run flat, interested how to confirm if this is the case?
