2014 Audi SQ5

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
I thought mine was aug 30 but after a recent trip to the stealership I've seen I've been pushed back to sept 30. Which is fine, my 335xi is still a blast to drive and I'm still really apprehensive about moving to Audi since their service capacity is worse than BMW gallery whose service is worse than anything I've ever experienced.
If I don't like the car, I hope to sell it and get an x3 or a cayenne (both have way better technology). But still, I can't wait to get it and take the lame v6t badges off the side and start driving the **** out of it.

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
I've given up on the Audi brand for now. After reading about issue after issue in relation to the EMS/Electromagnetic Steering, I have decided to purchase a 2014 Infiniti Q50 loaded except for the Hybrid features. It also comes in about $15,000 cheaper than the S4 or SQ5. I've had 3 Infiniti's previously and have had excellent performance, reliability and service when needed. Cheers!

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
I remember thinking the FX50 is a pretty big vehicle last time I saw one up close, more comparable to the Q7 I would think? Not really a fan of the styling or interior, but they sure do have a nice note when you punch the throttle.
I think one of the unique features of the SQ5 is that it is a smaller SUV, most of the performance kings right now are all full size. S4 would also be better in terms of handling and being nimble in comparison.

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
I agree here however I'm really not comparing anything except longevity, service, and reliability of two vehicles. I have really moved on from the brand that I once thought was for me. Cheers

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
I do like the Q for the fact that there is absolutely no range in the RMP’s while cruising with any sort of drone in the cabin from the exhaust. Hard to get a 100% tuned aftermarket system that doesn’t have some.

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
My SQ5 with Lava Grey Metallic exterior, Magma Red and Black interior with aluminum black Beaufort oak inlays, Bang and Olufsen sound system, Navigation with parking system and tire pressure monitors is currently in Emden, Germany awaiting shipment to Winnipeg. I have been told it should arrive at the end of August.
Can't wait.

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
Both are pricy though...
Stasis $1500 + shipping and install.
AWE $1800 to $2400 + shipping and install. (and thats for the old 3.2 Q5) nothing up on the 2013's yet.
