2012 Audi Q5 - Loose Driver Seat - Anyone Else
 

Hi there,

I bought a demo model Q5 back in June and I love the car. However it has one issue that has been bugging me since I bought the car.

The driver side seat "slides" when you take corners or in other words it isn't completely tight so that on certain corners (not all) it will slide a little bit then settle.

I took the car into the dealership for the first tune up and was told that this was "normal" behaviour but I don't believe them at all since the passenger seat doesn't move at all and I've subsequently found a couple of posts on the internet.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if so, were they able to get it fixed?

Try the other dealer. It's not normal at all.

It took three tries, but my dealer found a broken bushing on the seat drive screw. replaced it and the seat is secure.
