I ordered my fully-decked s-line on Dec08 and it landed in Halifax on March 01: 11-12 weeks plus transit by train to Vancouver. If I ordered it in Toronto I would likely be picking it up this week. Your dealer's s-line delay argument doesn't wash. It sounds to me as if he sold your order allotment to someone else and pushed you down the line.

I (and everyone else here, I bet) would be mightily pissed at this—whatever the cause—but pissed enough to cancel the order and end up driving a funny-looking MDX or an old-man RX? Tough call.

 

MDX and RX hardly a substitute for the Q5, agreed. I am looking at a transport offloading Audi's as I type. My client's SLine, Q5 purchased on Nov. 29th is on this load. Cprg assessment is not to be discounted, this is a possible scenario. Once again, there were never any delays with SLine orders.

 

I have said, those last Oct's orders are still in the air. The question is if you have got the VIN. If yes, maybe better, else worse a lot. They can always manipulate orders back and forth. Even if got VIN, only means the car has come out of factories despite the sales may tell you on board or canadian soil, or something. if you can wait till May, why not wait more for new RDX.

 

Honestly, I would be pissed enough that I'll end up happy driving a Toyota Rav4. I really don't like the story I'm hearing and this is going to be my first Audi. First I'm already disappointed that they don't have European Delivery, now all these stories about waiting longer than they promised.

This question might not be related to deals but bugs the hell out of me because I can't seem to find the information anywhere. Does the Premium version (not the Plus) have SD card slot for music? I know that with the Plus and Nav you get two. This might be my first Audi and I don't know how reliable Audis are but I heard really bad stories so I don't want to try it out with a base version for couple years but really interested in the SD card since I listen to music alot.

 

One SD card slot without NAV even on the basic Q5, two with.
