Well, not quite yet:D Dealer called me today and I'm scheduled for pickup on Thursday! Ecstatic! Soon after will post some pictures.
How is the rest of pack waiting for Q5? Any news?

I am not so lucky...

I ordered Aug. 17th...
I don't even have a VIN yet...
Estimated delivery is almost mid-January...
I will be lucky to have my Q5 by Christmas...

Only explanation is that your dealer didn't have free allocation spot until late.

My vehicle was ordered on the 17th Aug. as well and received notification from dealer today that it's ready for pick up Thursday from downtown Audi. I would double check with dealer as it doesn't make sense you have to wait another couple months....unless you ordered some obscure options? I picked mine up from downtown audi last year, they "forgot" the interior carpets so check for those.

Received an update email today from my sales rep...

I finally received my VIN, and order status is 'in transit from factory'.

How long from time of VIN release to actual delivery did you guys have?

Ok, lets see. Day 1 bought winter tires/ rims from tire rack. Day 2 order navtools rearview camera/ dvd, book seal & wax, check winter wiper blades, watch warcity video on lighting upgrades. 1 more day....trading in my Murano of 5 yrs....so sad.....NOT!:rolleyes:

You can go buy Call of Duty black ops and spend the last 2 days playing it or you can get seriously drunk LOL. I am kidding of course about the latter.

I went and bought top of the line winter wiper blades, fiddle for an hour trying to install them non of the adapters fit. I gave up put the stock back on.

OK, so after couple days of owning Q5 update:
1. State if shock persists! Sorry, can't shake it off yet.
2. B&O sound. Done some customization - now it's UNREAL! Even my wife agreed that it is amazing to listen to the music, and she usually doesn't care much.
3. One of the best features is advanced key. After using it for couple days only - I can't imagine myself not having it. It's truly awesome feature.

Drove my Q5 at night.... All I can say is: "Houston, do we have clearance for landing!"I felt like aircraft pilot! Interior lightning is simply breathtaking!

Yes I KNOW the feeling, can't stop driving (I'll get some pix in shortly). I also picked up the interior led light package from Warcity's amigo and look forward to installing them. The fuel economy looks amazing on the 2.0 and I'm pulling over 700km on the first tank, so going to play around with different fuels and see if it makes a difference. As the engine is new you would anticipate better ratings in the future, no?

Congrats.

1- About navigation package, does it come with a larger screen?

2- about MMI interface : is it really usefull or a bit complicated for a car?

I'm still debating on the usefullness of the 3200$ navigation package.

Another thing : is the XM radio funcitonnal for a try out period?

1. Yes, it comes with slightly larger screen.
2. After playing with MMI for couple days I find it really straightforward. Worth to mention that MMI is rather for tech persons. But again - I would consider myself as one - so no problems for me. Loving it!
I originally ordered without NAV, but changed mind after 2 weeks of researching and corrected it - I'm very glad I did! It's well worth the money, IMO.

IMO, the best nav we've ever offered. I also includes a rear camera, as well as front parking sensor.

Sirius is free for three months.

afretes, how about traffic updates. Manual says is not available in Canada, but warcity mentioned that he's using them. Are they included in 3 months Sirius deal?
