Having problems with MMI radio and CD buttons. Sometimes I get sound, sometimes not. Have new battery and am not aware of having spilled a drink on MMI. Dealer will probably charge a fortune to fix/diagnose...any suggestions as to where to go in the Toronto area?

I had a problem with the MMI not recognizing the iPod. I think it was an hour labour and a software update to fix it. Your problem sounds like it would need hardware so be prepared for a larger bill.

We just finished repairing a 2007 Q7 with the same issue...very common actually due to poor drain design. Because the MMI runs on a MOST system, interruptions in the circuit will cause issues similar to what you are experiencing.
