Question New to forum....looking for advice re: my newly chipped 4.2 S4

First off, hello and thank you in advance to all who read this. here goes my question. I recently had an APR chip burn completed on my 4.2 S4. shortly after completing this I noticed that my traction control no longer kicked in when I punched it off the line (prior to the Mod, I had to turn my traction control off in order to get a good launch). I am curious as to the cause of this. I have recently hit 100k. Not being a car-tech savy guy, there are a few things that cross my mind. Was this caused by the tune i.e. is the tune less agressive at lower RPMs? Does the tune directly effect my traction control? Or have I simply lost horsepower/torque due to wear and tear on my 100k old engine? My tires are in need of replacing...not sure what effect that plays. Any input or feedback would be greatly appreciated!
