Lowering A4 2007

Hi guy's,
I would like to drop my B7 by about half inche only.
Do i need new coils?new shocks? or nothing?
I dont want to sell the car to buy parts :-)
I bought 17 inches TSX wheels(RS4 copy)
I had the sport package on my B6, so i'm used to have the fenders more filled

Thank'S for your help

try finding someone selling a used set of sport suspension. it's harder to find in canada, but there's a few people selling them in the states for a few bills + shipping.

You can just lower with springs, but that'll shorten the life of your stock shocks. Shorter springs tend to be stiffer too, so your car will likely be underdamped if you don't upgrade the shocks. Unless you want the height adjustability, you won't need coilovers.

^^ exactly what he said... if you don't wanna spend a lot, go with a shock/spring combo rather then a full coilover suspension...

Thank's guys, you are very helpfull
Eibach say's that there springs are made for oem shocs.
do you think the shocks will not last 90,000 Km ??

I also have a friend who have Eibach springs and Bilstein socks never installed.
but it's for a B6(2002) i dont know if it will fit my B7(2007)??

Re: Lowering A4 2007

Unless the Eibachs you're referring to are OEM replacement without altering ride height, the shocks will likely be worn out before 90,000km.

The suspensions for the B6 and B7 are interchangeable, far as I have read, so you ought to be able to use your friend's Eibach/Bilstein combo.
