Default 18" wheel upgrade for tt??

Hey everyone,

Was wondering if upgrading my 2002 tt from the stock 17" wheels to 18" (probably the RS4 9 spoke wheels that are stock on ALMS edition) will make any visual difference in ride height with the stock suspension? I hate that look of too much gap between wheel well and tire.
Only reason I ask is I'm not sure if I ever want to lower the car at all but want the look of the bigger wheels.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

ride height and gap will stay the same on the a4 17'' run 45 section tire when you go to 18'' they run a 40 section tire the overall circumfernce stays the same
you can run the bigger wheel and taller tire but the speedo will be out and you may run into clearence issues.
