Smallest winter tires for an A5?

Just wondering how low I can go in winter tire fitment for an A5?

Will rims from other Audi's eg. A4 or VW's fit?

If anybody has any wheel specs that will safely fit, that would be appreciated. I know one of the dimensions is 5x112, but theres prob more to it than that.

Hey diablo,
I think 16"s are the smallest you can go with; I know Tirerack.com says it'll fit (even shows you what it'll look like), but I went with the 17"s...5x112, 35 offset and 66 hub...
