Default flywheel/crank bolt pattern?

Yeah, the newbie here with a real PITA question:

I only have two engines apart here, and they are both inline 5s, so I have no other frame of reference.

What other VAG cars share the same flywheel bolt pattern as found on 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.5, 2.6 5 cyl cranks?

I need a 228mm flywheel for 2.5 TDI installation in VW Vanagon Syncro. The 2.4 flywheel has ring gear on wrong side and is too heavy (MEANT for diesel). Has to be flywheel for longitudinal installation (i.e. starter beside engine).

I am hoping the VR6 or some other much more available VWAG stuff is the same, but nothing handy to check.

Regards - Pat
