Hello folks, problem with front suspension. Have renewed tie rods, ball joints, stabaliser link rods and all conceivable rubber bushes plus two shocks including the upper rubber cup/ bearing. problem a clonking noise when going over small bumps in road and when turning at low speed i.e. parking. All new fitments have been set at correct torque's. Have checked sub frame mountings as well. Can anyone help

I have a 1994 90 CSQ and those symptoms turned out to be a front drive shaft with a cracked outer boot... no grease = u-joint failure.

i have a 94 audi 90 jus did sum front end work...bassically drop ur ball joint and unbolt the axle you should be able to swing the spindle enough to get the joint out and then im pretty sure its the special 12 point torx on the inner theres 6 bolts i believe unbolt those and your axle comes right out
