Hi All,

I have a 1982 Turbo 5000 and the car will cold start but will not continue to run after the 8 second mark, when the cold star valve shuts off so does the engine. It seems as if the fuel system is over pressurized and will not allow the fuel plunger to operate freely and will not allow the engine to continue to run. The fuel plunger in the fuel distributor is not stuck but will not move freely due to over pressure in fuel system ? Maybe?

Any tips , helps , or anything to get it starting again would be greatly appreciated.
