Smile Time to Say goodbye (2004 A4 1.8spd)

Hi Everyone,

Newbie here!

I have a 2004 A4 1.8t 6spd that I thought would be with me for another 5 years but it just went downhill fast after the horrible winter we had. I bought a new A4 and the dealership tried to give me next to nothing for the ol girl so I kept it to see myself.

It has a whining noise from the Transmission that I had a friend Audi pro look at and we concluded that it was not with the $$$ since it was at 217000 kms. That along with needing front left and back left Wheel Barring's. I heard that I may do better trying to sell it for parts.

Any feedback on this option and if good, where do I start?
Any other suggestion would be welcomed!

Thanks in advance.
