One more allroad

Just acquired a '02 2.7l allroad. Black on black. Looking forward to meeting some of the Audi community on line.

I see you are from Calgary. Where do you take your car for service? Who do you trust?

I do all my own service and mods, swapped in K04's, swapped in a 6 speed. In short I only trust myself to do what is needed.

Re: One more allroad

Have you done a 2.7 timing belt? Is it difficult?

Re: One more allroad

I have, and no it isn't that tough

Re: One more allroad

How tough was the 6 speed convert? Is it more install the parts, or is there a ton of fabricating?

Re: One more allroad

It is pretty much install the parts, until you get to the wiring, then it becomes a little more in depth in order to keep all the stock functions like cruise, reverse lights, depress clutch to start

Re: One more allroad

How long does the timing belt change take - assuming all goes well?

Re: One more allroad

4-5 hours on the first go round, it can be done quicker once you've done it a couple of times
