Hi. I've been working on restoring a 1986 Turbo CS5000 Quattro. So far I have done the interior which included changing out the controls for the climate controller, radio, and drive selector.
The engine had the top end rebuilt at the time of buying it, since then I have replaced faulty wiring, idle controller, distributor and vacuum lines.I replaced all the control arm bushings last fall. All I have left to do is the brake lines, 4 tires, front silencer and replace the windscreen.
This car is a quiet comfortable ride. Has a lot of power when you want it and handles great at any speed.
I love this car.
Oh, My name is Wayne and I live outside Toronto in
Brantford Ontario. I have worked on cars all my life but this Audi is the best one I have ever come across.
