Hi All!
I am new to the Audi family. Call me crazy we bought an 2002 Allroad 150000 miles I looked all over did a car-fax all could not find any problems no leaks nothing major. A mechanic had owned it he had changed the timing belt, idler pulley, water pump, so I said lets take a chance. We tend to keep cars we have an 97 Jeep Cherokee we bought new and an 96 GMC Sierra. We really like the Audi, I do my own work most of the time on the vehicles, so for the price I said I will learn how to work on it when needed. I replaced the drivers side door switch with an more industrial one from Radio Shack and fixed the gas cap lock not to hard of jobs. I do have a couple of questions we only received one switch blade key so I let the dealer cut and program a new key, the old key when you unlock the doors and open the drivers door the seat and mirrors move to position can the new key be programed to do this also? What is the best tool to purchase for programming codes/ changing codes. If there are all ready threads on these subjects point me there I will also search.
Thanks James
P.S. I will upload pictures later.

Hi, I'm a new member and Audi owner as well. My first car was a VW and I grew up driving my parents Saab but only owned Toyota's as an adult. Went test driving a used Rav 4 and saw this Audi wagon. I love to drive and didn't realized I missed having a soild car under me until I test drove the Audi. It's a 2000 with 64,000 ml and in really good condition. My #1 requirement was either 4x4 or all wheel drive so the Audi was a fit. All wagons are quattro and I had no issues navigating Cleveland's snow, hallelujah! I've had fun reading different post and did the key/gas timing thing. It made a difference. Well gotta go, hockey tournament this weekend. Enjoy your Audi :O)
