Just picked up a 2002 TT 180q earlier this week. Mint condition, 75,000 kms, very tight. Loved the TT since the day it was introduced. Really enjoying my first week with the car and happy to be inducted into all things Audi. This is my first Audi. I'm really enjoying the great posts and insight on this forum.

Here's a picture just after the purchase. I'll post more as soon as we get some sunshine and I get her washed. Up next, some winter rubber and likely a software upgrade.

Welcome aboard! That's a really nice find, so congradulations on your purchase! I did the same thing last year, bought mine about this time a year ago. Love mine too, so I'm sure you won't regret it. The more TT's the better, and the TT owner population is really starting to grow on this forum!

Welcome as well. After owning two A4's I decided that I was now too old to drive a 4 door, and too young to drive an automatic. The TT Quattro is perfect for my needs. It's a great drive, offers Quattro security and handling, I can fit a load of stuff in the back, and even gets good fuel economy considering the performance. And of course it's gorgeous. You will love that car.
Cheers

Thanks. There are a few minor scratches, but I'm very happy with the condition for a 7 year old car.

Thanks. I sort of did things backward. Got married, bought a house, got a dog, had a child, and THEN got the TT.

I can't stop driving it. I look for every excuse. Are we out of milk? Do we need more diapers? The list goes on and on.

BTW - I really like your winter wheel and tire combination, I have been considering the Dunlops as well. We seem to be back to normal with winter here in Toronto, snowing every few days, and I don't think the Toyo's that my car is currently wearing are the best idea for the snow.

I look for every excuse to drive mine too! I know exactly what you mean, and I'm bummed out I live so close to my work! As for snows I didn't have a set last winter but picked up a set of VW beetle rims with winters for this year. The car is now amazing in the snow and a blast to drive in winter, other then the continual grime. Remember that any 5x100 Mk4 Jetta, Golf, or Beetle rim fits our TT's and are thus pretty easy to find.
