Talking New to Audi..... in Toronto

Hey all,
I got a 2000 (B5) A4 1.8T quattro a few months ago and I absolutely love it!
the car had 84,000 klicks on it when I got it but it feels tight and runs great.
The previous owner was a loyal Audi customer and kept the car in good working order. I intend to do the same.
I'm planning to tune it a bit to make it more fun to drive.
It's already a GREAT car but it needs a little more of an edge.

thanks to this forum and (I won't lie) a few others.... I have learned so MUCH about the engine codes, turbos, DV/BOV, N75J, chips, quattro characteristics, BHP, WHP, Crank HP....the whole deal!

SO...I've decided to tune my stock A4. The car has a sport package:
stiffer suspension, 3 spoke steering wheel, 16" rims and Sport shift ****.

thus far, I have added a K&N filter (not a CAI), the 710N DV, a N75J valve, HID kit, 18 inch BBS wrapped in Triangle 235/40/18s......and on the way is an APR snub mount, B&M short shifter and a Stage 3 XTD race clutch with 12lb flywheel. Soon I'll get the AWE DTS(drivetrain stabilizer), urethane bushings for the rear diff mount, KO4 turbo (not sure if I should get the whole KO4 kit it's kind of expensive), GIAC or APR chip (haven't decided yet), a real CAI, an APR R1 DV and an FMIC.
Okay okay, these are a ton of new modifications but the point of these mods is to have the car perform well while keeping it relatively reliable as an everyday driver. I'm not really looking for BIG power out of my 1.8 litre ATW (150 stock PS) engine, I don't really wanna destroy it...but all of these mods should push the HP rating close to 225....which is enough.

I'm glad to be among you tuners and I'm glad to be a part of this forum.
Because Audi cars are quite expensive to maintain....forums like this one allow me to do some repairs and mods on my own.....which is a relief when you know you can spend more hard-earned dollars on cool parts.

SO...with my first post...i'd like to give a big THANKS to all of you who shared your knowledge.
