I just joined and wanted to say hello.

I am also contemplating an upgrade to the RS5 Coupe. The question I am toying with is whether I wait for the 2015 with the rumoured V6 twin turbo or go for the 2014 V8 and its mighty soundtrack. Decisions decisions. Depending on the manufacturing cycle and allotment to Canada I may have even missed 2014.

My A5 has been a TON of fun in the snow. Not sure I could go for anything that didn't have such superb AWD. And that is the thing. In a northern climate the competition simply cannot compete. I want a daily driver that will handle deep winter. Few reviewers factor that in. I've seen 2 reviews make mention of snow. And when you add snow tires...oh yes. Can leave most other cars standing on icy roads.

Forums are great for opinions. Fire away. Besides, it's my intro thread so I can hijack it for a topic right? Oh and thinking of classic ibis white.

I anticipate delivery late march to early April. Still waiting on a confirmed date though. Very exciting.
