i got an A4 B5 1996 registerd 1.8TS, shes stock at the moment apart from a turbosmart bov and a few new blue sillicon hoses, i bought it thinking it was a stallion but what i actualy got was a donkey... put a boost guage on it and it read 0 psi.
so i pulled it to pieces and found that the actuator rod had snapped, using a little bit of savvy i repaired it but i'm only getting 3-4 psi, having said that now i got boost i can now start looking for the boost leaks!!!

with a little bit of help from the good people on forums like these we can all save ourselves a few pennies, all it takes is a bit of aptitude and common sense after all i'm an electrician not a mechanic so be brave but be sensible and kow you're limits, because if you don't it's gonna cost big time.
