Hi from Edmonton-3 days to go...
 

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and to Audi's. I pick up my '03 S6 on Wednesday. I feel like a little kid at Christmas. Only got to take it for a brief test drive, but what a drive . Can't wait. It gets the once over Tuesday and if all checks out I pick it up on Wed. I will be the 2nd owner, so I am sure all will be well.

Well, I took the day off today to get the car. The mechanical went purrrfect. Turns out, the timing belt & all tentioners, rollers, thermostat and water pump were all just done. New brakes all the way 'roud including new rotors. If that's not enough, brand new Michelin Alpin Pilots. The guy was going to keep it another year and did all this work, then decided he wanted a new one. Boy, I think I totally lucked out. Next week I'm taking it in for a transmission fluid & filter change & new plugs, then I figure it will be good to go with periodic maint.

This car has truly amazed me in the one day that I've driven it, & boy, did I drive it!

I sure am glad I found Audi! Thanks for the welcome! I will post some pics when the weather improves (more like the temp, weather is good, but it's -25). Will buff'er up & take some pics.

Zman I am trying to set up an audi owners meet in Alberta this summer so far about a 100people are going to attend, if you want some tips and trick for your car dont hesitate to ask. Anyway congrats on the purchese it is a great car.

Wow, nice. My work partner just bought a black '04 S4, chipped, carbon fiber cold air intake, K&N filter & stainless exhaust. It moves!
As for me, I need the wagon for the family.
I would be interested in the Audi owner's meet, so pls keep me informed.
