Similar situation here. We have a 2000 Jetta VR6 (also very fun car to drive), which is exactly the same colour as the 03 A4 Avant we just bought... (just happened that way)
when the father in-law is over with his 2001 red Jetta 2.0 our laneway looks like a Euro dealership. Once you get the German enegineering in your blood it's hard to go back
