hi everyone, yesterday i bought my first audi. all my life the only cars that i have ever owned has been BMW. i love BMW and will buy another one in the near future. i was drown to the A4 by a friend that bought a 2001 A4 2.8 and let me take it for a spin. i was impressed by the power and handling of the car and how much better it was then my 528i in the snow.

the car i bought is a 1999 A4 2.8 AWD, 5 speed. for $1900 in Toronto. the body is in great shape however the engine make a noise when in first gear and goes away after that. when not in gear the engine sounds good. the guy i bought the car from says its the clutch, he has had the car for 5 years not never changed it. My questions is; is he right about that noise being the clutch or might i have gear box and or transmission issues.

the second thing is where in Toronto can i find a good audi shop.
