I am very close to buying a 2008 S8 from the US ; i am getting mixed messages about the warranty ; i know the factory warranty is good but service guy at my local dealer in waterloo said he has been able to put through certified us warranties as well , providing you pay the deductible . Is the certified warranty good in canada ? the us salesman said it is not , and thus has found a 3rd party one from a company called Fidelity and they say their platinum warranty is good in canada , any wisdom out there for me ?

 

As Far as i know everyone has been able to transfer their warranties over to Canada, but there was a transfer fee that was something like $100-$150 try using search its on this forum for sure.
