After lurking for long, a hello
Hi guys,
I've been lurking for quite a while in the dark, reading around the common problems for A4s (Cam, Fuel Pressure Pump, Coils) before going ahead and purchasing a 2006 A4 2.0T Quattro.
I've previously owned a Passat 2002, which served me well before a very old man rammed into me on a red light. Since I've always wanted an Audi and the maintenance costs are probably similar to a Passat (most parts were Audi brander ones), I said I should go ahead and make a little bit of an investment and get what I really wanted. Test drove a few - some with fewer KM and 1 year newer than mine - but in the end this one felt the least abused and the most 'proper' to drive. Can't really explain, but you probably know what I mean.
4000 km later and she runs great, so hopefully by now I can be sure I didn't get a lemon. I do have some A/C problems (only hot air) but for that I'll post in another section.
Here's a picture of my baby and allow me to thank you all for your contributions to the forum and indirectly, to my purchase decision.
Cheers,
Dan.

Re: After lurking for long, a hello
Thanks!
I'm more of the stock (visually at least) type of guy and the car has already 119k km on it. I don't know if it's worth doing an ECU remap or any expensive performance mods...
I'm getting a Denison Five system right now to connect my iphone and bluetooth and i'm thinking maybe a remote starter (the ones I can do from my iphone since I don't see the car from my flat, hence I couldn't start it with a normal starter)
