Default Wheel size difference?

Quick little question before summer comes and I decide to get my wheels .... 18" to 20" , would it change the performance of the car? What I'm saying ... Would bigger rims slow down your performance ? Will it change the performance in anyway possible ... Will I go slower , or slower start , corner turning , ect ... If I get 18 or 19 or 20s ?? Or will they be all the same

Of course it would make a difference in how the car feels. You're also going to have to re-calibrate your speedometer.

What would be the perfect size to get? If I want to get max performance and without re-calibrating my speedometer

17" have been proven to be the best balance for rotational mass and the influences it has on performance. Howevever, with larger cars and weight being factored, in. I can't say for sure for every car thats used for tracking is generally "smaller" and "lightweight" . My rule of thumb is if I'm going bigger, I usually go 1 size up from stock, otherwise I keep it stock size, and only go wider if anything. going from an inch up won't throw off your calibration off by more than 1-3 kms if that.

I would say the samething, if you have 18" wheels, don't go more than 19" if you change it.

And I agree about 17", the prove are done, they are the best spec, other bigger size is for the look.
