Does anyone know the differences between the Canadian model and the US one besides the driving lights and bumpers? I know the bumpers are approved in Canada now if they were from the US model and the driving lights have to be actuated. Are the Canadian models built better because they have to meed our standards, like some other manufactures do? Thanks...

There is no difference in 'build quality'. I think the only other differences between the Canadian and US versions (for the MKI TT) is the speedometer (miles are the primary label in US, km in Canada; however, both models still have both units), and Canada requires there to be a French airbag warning label, which I'm not sure the US one has.

 

I have a USA TT 225 quattro. The 2000 TT coupe has no child teathers - must be installed in Canada. The other models (like cheeba said) are mostly the same.....

 

Does the 2002 USA model TT have a child teathers?
