Hi all, newbie here.

I'm considering buying a 2010 TTS, upgrading from my GTI.
The TTS has 17" wheels and 225-section tires. I'm surprised that a TTS would come with 17s. Question is, would it have been available from the factory with 17s, or has someone swapped the stock wheels for the smaller ones?
I can't post a link because I'm new here, but the TTS is at Campus Acura in Victoria if anyone wants to have a look.

If I'm not mistaken, the 2010 TTS came with 19" stock wheels..
I'm sure someone can confirm this...

 

Those are 18" as per picture on web site.

 

Do you mean that the wheels on the TTS I'm considering at Campus Acura are 18s? I'm sure they're 17s -- it's one of the first things I noticed when I looked at the car.

 

those are not stock. they are factory winter tires/rim package rims

 

You have probably right, my mistake, there is too much rubber on the tire flange to be 18"

I got 18" on mine and it's clearly less than that.

 

they're stock 18's and had the option to upgrade to a 19" wheel
