With some crap weather in the middle of last week, a sales meeting in San Diego this weekend and a few details I wanted taken care of on the TTS, I finally picked her up yesterday.

She came home with winter mats, cargo tray and winter tires installed, tinted windows and fabric/leather and paint protected.

What a scream to drive! I am thoroughly impressed. I do not recommend using the Launch Control feature on new winter tires on the pavement though. Stink-y!

I took a few pictures, but between the camera being dropped a few too many times and my inability as a photographer this is what I got. I was limited to shots on the showroom floor because it was gross outside. (Freezing rain that morning.)













Oh and the dealer plate and sticker is gone. I let them have that until it was in my possession.

Once again beautiful car, saw it in there the other day when I was in to take the 07 S4 Avant they have for a quick rip.

I thought it looked familiar, but also thought you had already taken your's home.

Very nice! I actually have Migel (sp?), trying to source me a white one as I speak, should know the outcome tomo. I have a White on Magma S5 on order as well which should be here in March he said. I was never really an Audi fan untill last year when I got my first S5 (Phantom Black, still think its the only one in the city). Great car. I sold it back to Taylors, when my e92 M3 showed up, but boy have I missed it!. I currently have a 2009 335i x-drive, but I saw your TTS in the showroom, and just couldn't shake how nice of an automobile it was, so immidiately got him on finding one. Glad to hear it meets your expectations, and fingers crossed, I will know what it feels like to have one soon. Once again Beautiful!!

I have been contemplating that S4 as well, but haven't driven it yet. I will have need of an avant in the near future and I sure loved the manual transmission and V8 growl when I had the RS4. (It just wasn't as "plain fun" as this TTS!) I'm not quite sure about all of that blue though either. What did you think of it?

Crazy. I bought a Mk2 3.2 in March but traded it on an RS4 a few months later because the opportunity was there. Mistake. The RS4 is an amazing car to drive (as is the S5) but I missed how much "plain fun" the TT was. When I heard there was one TTS allocated to Taylor VW/Audi I had to have it. It's phenomenal. Wouldn't have guessed I would have been so into S Tronic either, but the size, agility and power are totally perfect for it. The only downside with the TTS is that it will be as difficult to get as your original black S5.

 

Thing of beauty. The baseball optic really works in those colours.

Have you found something to do with your left foot?

 

Yup I agree, gonna be hard to get. He said there were only 10 or so in the system that were not marked as pre sold, and the ones available are all completeley optioned out with the 19's etc ( not ideal for winter ). So I got a bit of hope. He is getting back to me, today sometime, so as said before fingers crossed!
