Default Revo Chip 5-hour Trial

I'll complete my 5-hour Revo trial by the time I get home from work this evening.
My independent VW/Audi tech who installed said it runs at about 80% of the full version.
I have measured valued with my Liquid TT and see the HP up at around 228 (most I've ever seen previously 21.
Torque is up to 278 (from previous high of 209).
Very impressed with the Torque gain. Car goes ballistic when hitting around 3500rpm under throttle.
I've been "getting the most out of the trial" since instal Thurs eve, but today driving to work (80k) I drove like "old man" and could not even tell it was chipped.
Going home I'll exercise the mapping!
Anybody else experience with the Revo?

be aware that after the trial is done and you are not getting the full version your HP, Torque and Boost will be set below original specs.

Thanks Ice,
I researched the UK TT Forum before having the chip; and am not sure if this is still a problem.
My mechanic is also aware that certainly in the past, it was an issue.
I will be able to measure my HP and Torque via Liquid TT tomorrow after trial expires.

I had Revo on my previous car, a W.E. 1.8T Jetta. I got the car chipped at 55,000 km's, traded it in eventually at 180,000 with no issues related to the software at all. I typically drove that car like I stole it and I never got cel's related to the tune. It really made the car come alive, night and day difference and the car should have come like that from the dealer in my opinion. It ran very smooth, started great in all weather so I'd have to say I was very happy with it.
I'll eventually chip my TT, but I've been doing some maintenance items like the timing belt and brakes lately. I'm thinking next spring I'll start modifying my TT, starting with the Revo flash for sure, I'd highly recommend it.

My car has now reverted from the Revo chipped settings to "default."
Obviously I have no way of knowing whether this is "Revo default" or "OEM default."

BUT: My horsepower figure last night reached 220; and my Torque 210.
The car drives as normal; therefore I am pleased with "return" to stock.

This upgrade was amazing and I will be visiting my local VW/Audi independent later this week for details on purchasing this upgrade.

Hi , my independent Audi mechanic has suggested Revo Flash for my car.
He charges 450.00 for it
is that a fair price?

He indicated that I would love it and it should have come that way from the factory

any opinions on the price and whether I should do this ?

Thanks

Audigemini,
Yes, that's a good price. I've seen from low 4s up to 650.
I'm paying similar to yourself.

The only upgrade you should perform is a replacement diverter valve.
I have just received the:
Forge-007P-Diverter Valve (stealth black)
from ttstuff.com for $157.59 inc shipping and all taxes (US$). Took a week to arrive.

From all my research, I was informed it was essential. My mechanic also agreed. He stocked a couple different brands, but insisted that I ordered the brand that I felt comfortable with.
I'm having my TT chipped when car is in for winter servicing and winter wheels/tires. Given the current "comfortable" forecast, might be another couple weeks.
