2004 TT headlight question
the Driver side headlight went out however restart car and came back on. This happened a few weeks ago, and again last week. Pulled the bulb and all looks good. It is the Xenon bulb. When you turn on the lights, there seems like some kind of motor running in that area of the car but not on passenger side. Sometimes it makes that noise for about 10-15 seconds and sometimes only for 2-3 seconds. The other is that the amber drive light stays on also but not on passenger side.
- first should the amber lights both be on when headlamp lit.
- how to test for other symptoms of light issues.
Prior or to removing light if I tapped on housing the light would slightly flicker. Once I removed and put bulb back in, it didn’t flicker again but that noise is significant.
Thoughts anyone.
