Re: Cold Air intake?
I installed a K&N cold air intake last spring on my 01 TT 225.
It's a DIY job and takes all but an hour. I strongly suggest replacing your spark plugs with new ones too. Clean spark plugs will make you enjoy the addition a little more.

Re: Cold Air intake?
Sorry, haven't taken any pics... ill try to do that this week-end but no promises.
Sound : a little hissing sound around 4,000 RPM.
Performance : Noticeable boost when turbo kicks in.
On the track, the boost comes in really handy on exiting turns when applying the power.
Nice combo. The other nice part is no more air-filter replacement. Just clean and put back.

Re: Cold Air intake?
Just installed a VTDA from Modshack.
Simple installation, went like a charm, and the results seem to be great.
The installation showed that the DV was on the way out...so I'm waiting for the Forge to come through the mail.....
A great fit, and great results!
