Re: chip
I also have an 2003 TT and now that I've done my timing belt, brakes, and a few other items I'm feeling the need to get a bit more power out of it. The Revo programming really "woke up" my old Jetta, so I'm hoping fo the same effect on my TT.
Let me know what you think of it, thanks in advance.

Re: chip
Had the 5-hour demo back in Oct and really found a huge difference.
I have Liquid TT and could measure torque up at 280lb ft.
Went back and puchased the full version of REVO. At that time, also had winter wheels/tires; and haven't really pushed the vehicle too much.
Now I'm back to summers and am starting to see what the power's about.
My Liquid TT is reading around 215hp; and 230lb ft torque.
I feel the power is quite a bit down from what I drove on the demo.
That said: I made one additional change with the Forge 007DV.
I'm also experiencing the "screech." I have been researching this and find that it's a very common problem and nobody seems to have a really good answer.
I will have the car into Wroth for a couple issues later this week and will have them take a look.

Re: chip
Alan,
Google Revo Screech,
There's a lot of mention. Basically, it happens at the point the turbo starts to spool up.
Yesterday, on my home, I did a few WOT tests and did not hear anything.
My experience is that it happened with me more in the cold weather.
It's a really loud screech/squeel. I immediately let off the accelerator and just accelerate normally.

Wow, I hope that's not turbo whine you're talking about! Does the it sound definitely turbo-related? Somewhat like a dentist drill? Maybe Google some videos and compare the sounds; although, it is difficult to compare to internet audio.
Right now, Unitronic and Eurodyne are way ahead of any of the other tuners in North America. Also, they're both Canadian, so you don't have to ship your ECU over the border if there isn't a tuner near you. They also both offer upgrades to big-turbo files if you ever go that route.

Re: chip
I currently have the APR re-flash on my 225 and works great, vary relievable and a safe tune for the car, unlike some of the others like the revo tune that peaks higher in under boost which ultimately will kill the life of your turbo. But definalty the most bang for your buck.
