2002 TT - No Leverage in Gear Stick
Hello All.
My very first post.
We drive the car perfectly fine one day.
It is parked in the driveway overnight.
I then restart it the next the next day and try to engage a gear to go forward or back.
Nothing - The gearstick does not feel right, removing all leverage and just flops around like it has popped out of something.
My wife was able to somehow engage first gear and drive it into the garage where it rests and still no gear engagement.
What are my next steps to diagnose this fault?
Possible causes of fault?
