Default 2002 Audi TT Problem with front brake locking

I have a 2002 Audi TT FWD. Recently started having problem with the front right wheel locking. I thought that the bearing or something was going out, because it would suddenly pull to the right and there was a metal grating sound. But I saw that the ESP light would start blinking and when it came on is when the car would pull to the right for a second then once the light fully came on the metal grating sound would stop and the car would drive fine. Was wondering if the brakes were locking up and what I could do to fix the problem.

You likely have an ABS problem. Your description sounds like the stability control is false triggering and engaging when it shouldn't be. One possibility is if there are no stored codes then recommend to inspect the tone ring for cracks on the affected wheel.
