i have a 2006 audi tt that signals lights do not flash. they flash for the first 2 seconds and then go solid with no flashing sound. anyone know how i can fix this?

If this is the MK1 version or the 1st version of the TT I think I know the problem.

The hazard flasher unit is in the dash.

There is a known problem where the connections start to corrode short out.

You have to replace the unit. You have to pull the stereo unit and pop the module back and down through stereo opening to get it out reverse the process to put the new one in.

It is about a $100 bucks to buy from one of the on line Audi part suppliers.

Dealer will hose you.

Now there is a tempa fix. Give the dash a bonk where the hazard module is and it will usually start to work again for a while.
