Question Remote range issue

Ok like we all know audi have really screwed up with the whole remote range and how you have to be within 3 feet away from the car for anything to work.. i kind of tracked it down on this and other site and came down to that i have to extend the anttena wire...BUT where is it? not in my bumper. could really use some help and i greatly appreciate who ever takes the time to reply...thanx.

Simpler option is to extend the flip key and touch it to your chin as you press the remote button. This has been proven to work by multiple owners - it's worked for me with all my A4's - B5, B6, B7

yes that could also work but honestly why not extend that wier and deal with it good for all. i wanna get to the bottom of this..i just don't know where to find that anttena wire in my car. or which drawings i should be looking at. there has to be an anttena wire or some sort of a diagram that could help..so eager to find it..lol..thanx anyways..
