Do you find it that it would start at the seconde attempt right away?

Few possible reasons that are very common with the excellent german engineering: fuel pump, voltage of battery, mass air flow sensor, crank sensor, air leak. Go through elimination process and start from whatever costs less. Change the fuel filter first, then, look for any leaks, cracks in hoses. And so on. Good luck.

Hello! (and sorry to dig in this thread 10 years later, ehehe)
I'm having the issue. Suddently my TT failed to star at first. But if i try once (even for 1 second), e turn the key the second time, starts right away..
I Had a falty maf, was ridding with it unpluged. Bought a new one from Bosch. The ''kick'' is back when I trottle the pedal. Ieie!!! But the starting problem is giving me headache. Its not the maf (as I already have a new one), Already bought new spark plugs, because i dont know if they were changed any time. Can the reason be faulty spark plugs?
If not, Wthats the next thing that i should see? Thank you in advance

(PS - my spoken English is very good, but my writting.... not that good)
