Importing a TT in Calgary
Hey everyone,
I've decided to buy a TT sometime around April of this year. I have done a lot of research and know of the 6 bumper related parts needed replacement to comply as well as changing the odometer to metric (Vag-Com). My question's are; are the humps(tumors) part of the bumper cover? or is it a cutout where an extension of a the impact beam sits? And are there any other differences? I'm going to get the work done at a body shop and am curious because I want the smooth look and am trying to figure out whether it would be best to modify the re-bar to a US cover, or use the CDN covers and have them smoothed too. Last, anyone here from Calgary and have imported a TT already? I would be curious to hear your experience and where you had your work done? Thanks in Advance, Jonathan |
