how do i change my front marker light on the audi tt (driver side) tryed pulling it all apart but cant get the light out like the A4???

 

What a coincidence, my drivers front marker just died too! I could get the electrical plug off the back of the light, but can't seem to figure out how the clip works that holds the bulb assembly in. Anyone know the secret to getting this sucker out??

 

You can just pop it out with a slotted screwdriver. There's a retaining clip on one side - I think it is the side towards the front of the car. I just removed both of mine yesterday to smoke them and I popped them in and out a few times very easily; just go slowly and don't use too much force.

 

thats the side marker light your talking about......Alan and i are speaking about the marker lights under the front headlights. ive taken it all apart but the light will only move an inch or less?? so im stuck??

Alan, i think im going to take the good light out, so its black....imo it looks better then the orange glow...once i get it out you can have it, if you want it.

No idea on the other ones - I've never removed them.
