Have you considered / checked the European tuning shops pricing? I've used H2sport with my previous car, like you a Jetta, for a timing belt change, suspension upgrade, chipping, tuning work, and have always found them much cheaper then any stealership costs. It's a hike to get there but for major work it's worth the drive, and I'm sure there are closer places to Barrie. I would be nervious going to Midas, I just figure they don't know our cars well, but that's just paranoid thinking by me perhaps. I still always use the dealership for regular maintenance, just more comfortable with them working on my car.

Haven't done the install as yet as I am finishing my basement now. All my cash is being directed to finishing that. I plan on some spring mods. I used H2 Sport for my APR flash they seemed professional, bit of a hike from where I live. I'm a little hesitant in lowering this car as it is a daily driver, got the snows on right now. Anyway, Jazz, let me know when your car is done, I may head up your way to check it out. I would never get any work done at the dealer, I am fortunate in that I have a reliable mechanic one kilometer from my house that takes care of my 07 GTI and my TT. He quoted me 6 hours total approx to install coil overs, front and rear sway bars and the alignment.
